Holder found in contemptJune 29 2012 at 10:35 AM
House Republicans have won a historic political fight to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress, but the GOP likely is still a long way from obtaining documents it wants in an investigation of a bungled gun-tracking operation.
and more media spin....Republicans won a decission to hold Holder in contempt????? Nope CONGRESS voted to hold him in contempt yet the media decries it was all the Republicans doing. They are members of Congress and as such voted as they can. No mention until very late in any piece that most Democrats voted for it as well.

Are you for real???

This article mentions nothing about it being just Republicans voting on contempt charges. In fact it doesn't mention Republicans and voting at all until right at the end. Nothing like what the OP tried to convey. And what has the health care ruling got to do with any of this??
Since you asked

think about it---guns, drugs, and illegal activities that may compromise our health. Very costly decisions involved. It is clearly not easy to turn this problem around with the immigration issue and a dopey populace. From the genius of the hipsters and cracksters, what problem? Intelligent life on earth? My dog has more sense!
in your URL it says Republicans win contempt vote!!

nice try on the spin that it is not media bias that the Republicans were the only ones it is CONGRESS who voted yet the media is shouting it.
You must have the mind of a two year old.

Little things excite you and you can't write.
A huge majority of our citizen's reps voted in favor including 17 dems

So, why does Holder, Obama, and Pelosi call this vote purely an "election year political action"?
Of those relativel small group of lib dems who walked out, they would have done the same thing if this had been Hitler, instead of named Holder, as long as Hitler had small d after his name...!!!
The great majority of americans want answers and obama and holder arent giving answers to us. Something is up with this admin and doj. Either they are trying to hide something they dont want us to know, or they are just stupid to act like there may be something to hide when there isnt.
Case in point, Holder says that he has provided all relevant material. Obama then protects Holder by declaring Executive Privilege, stating all necessary docs have already been provided to congress.
Yet, the night before the contempt vote, doj releases new emails favorably showing that Holder was asking early on for info on the F&F action. What the...????
So, there are additional docs that Holder hasnt provided that apparently Obama and DOJ dont think fall under Exec Priv!!! Does this smell rotten to anyone else???

House Republicans voted to sanction Attorney General Eric Holder for failing to provide documents related to the failed "Fast and Furious" gun trafficking operation. The majority of House Democrats boycotted the vote, insisting that Holder was being treated unfairly. NBCs Kelly ODonnell reports.
This does not say Congress it says House Republicans.....

It's not that hard to do.
Can you spell major coverup????? Time for impeachment hearings.
|June 29 2012, 9:26 PM |
The Justice Department declared Friday that Attorney General Eric Holder's decision to withhold information about a bungled gun-tracking operation from Congress does not constitute a crime and he won't be prosecuted for contempt of Congress.

Bush invoked executive privilege six times, such as when refusing to release the minutes of Dick Cheney's meetings with corporate energy executives; Karl Rove's refusal to testify in the politically-orchestrated firings of federal prosecutors; and in the cover-up of the "friendly fire" shooting of former football player Pat Tillman in Afghanistan. Yeah, I know stop blaming Bush. The point is, it has been used by many presidents and each one could be deemed a "cover-up", so stop trying to make out like Obama is doing something unique.
What, no response?
