Romney please release your tax returnsAugust 6 2012 at 11:17 PM
Republicans demanded Obama's Birth Certificate for years but Romney won't release his tax returns. We know he has hidden offshore accounts, maybe that's why.
Why should he release them again?? He already released them and you would know
August 6 2012, 11:23 PM
that if you knew the requirements for running as a candidate. What you are doing is just retelling what the talking head Libbys say and they know this step in the process has already happened. It is another attempt to redirect attention from O's inability to lead and his numerous failures including the latest unemployment rate 8.3% and his mounting debt which has surpassed even what his economic advisors predicted.
Try again. Why not demand to know why O has not met any of his promises from his 2008 run and still lacks any of his plans, has yet to get a budget passed. and on and on and on with the list of his failures and your concerned with an IRS form. Don't you think if there was any issues with IRS they'd be prosecuting?
He did not release them

He only submitted one year, which showed off shore holdings that cannot be taxed....that is the truth
Same truth as Reid?

Please tell us how Mr. Obama will solve the National Debt problem. No links just the facts please.
He already paid taxes on the money...
August 7 2012, 6:07 AM
If I had his income I would put it off shore as well. It's already been taxed. Why in the world would anyone in their right mind leave it here just so the government can take it at the point of a gun and give to others that never EARNED it in the first place?
why are you so concerned
August 7 2012, 10:23 AM
on how Romney handles HIS money? Shouldn't you be more concerned with how obama is handling YOURS?
think about this
August 7 2012, 5:43 AM
the guy ran the olympics, was gov. of Mass., ran for pres last time, and you think he did all of that while not paying taxes for 10 yrs? 1) the IRS would have been on him years ago (if he hadn't paid taxes in 10 yrs) and 2) just exactly how long ago do you think he stopped doing his own taxes?
Come on y'all, do you really think this is about tax returns? If so, boy do I have a bridge for you.
romney should release his tax returns...
August 7 2012, 7:21 AM
Just as soon as Obama unseals his school records. What does he have to hide? Im guessing he was registered as a foreign student.
Mitt should make it clear he will release when Obama does. I guarantee it will be the last we hear of Romney's taxes.
Btw, if he's hiding money it wont be on his tax return. Telling the irs wouldn't be a very good way to hide it from the irs.
another red herring from the progressives

following the Alinsky method. Isolate, Escalate, Freeze.
Interesting book, if you have not read it. Shows you how community organizers think.

Let dems keep spending money and time on this issue and then release tax returns proving honesty and dems look even more stupid
Re: an alternative

It will still be Bush's fault! LMAO!
but it is effective

in putting FUD in the minds of some voters. It is more of the class warfare that the democrats are waging. The 1%, when most if not all of the democrat members of the house, senate, VP and POTUS are in that category.
Keep the focus OFF of your own incompetent term in the WH.

Any time someone brings up something you don't like, you bring up "red herring". Classic response when it hits a nerve. In this case the original post was about Romney and tax returns, and yet it is still some how a red herring.
Who is a better candidate for the next president?
August 7 2012, 3:35 PM
Obama or Romney?
A red herring is a figurative expression in which a clue or piece of information is or is intended to be misleading, or distracting from the actual question.
So questions about Romney's tax returns are indeed a red herring, to distract from the fact that Obama has accomplished ....
While Romney has been a consultant for BCG, Bain and Co., Successful at Bain Capital, CEO of Bain and Co., successfully managed the SLC Olympics, and been a successful Gov of Massachusetts.
Yeah, I'll stick with RED HERRING
You are clueless.
August 7 2012, 3:43 PM
By your standard, no one can bring up anything about this election and those running in it, except how Obama has supposedly failed in your eyes? Anyone bringing up any other topics or ideas are just bringing up red herrings? Is that about right? Give me a break.
You have no answers

I think the part you miss

is that the poster is commenting about Harry Ried using Romney's taxes to take the attention away from Obama's accomplishments or lack there of. So with that in mind I fail to see how the poster is "clueless". Of course, maybe I am guilty also being that I see his point.
