I'd ask on the main forum about the modding.....

....as they will give you lots of info on what they've done to achieve their current power levels.

The 2240 is a good candidate for a CO2-powered hunting pistol. There is also the Shark CO2 pistol, though I don't know if it is available anymore.

If you like big pistols, I've seen folks take a QB-78 and cut it down to large-pistol size. They reduce the length of the CO2 tube and have a real short barrel hanging over.
