Any Firefighters in the crowd?

I dug out ten cool John Player & Sons Cigarette cards from the 1930 Fire-Fighting Appliances set. There were 50 in the set, so this is 20% of it. They average VG, some better, some worse. The cards are:

Fire Escape Ladder & Canvas Chute, 1884
Lazy Tongs Fire Escape
Fire Appliances, 1735
THe Hodge Steam Engine, 1841
Newsham's Fire Engine, 1721
17th Century Fire Apparatus
National Fire Escape in Use, 1846
Monitor on Motor Fire Float "Beta III"
Hand Drawn Hose Carriage and Reel, 1873
Piano Type Fire Engine, 1880

The cards are a neat piece of history, especially for a fireman. I prefer to trade for a beater pre-war baseball card, but will listen to any offers.

Take Care, Geno
