hello I am rayni ... i was brittanys best friend i founded staar and i do not think your post was a verry funny joke... Brittany was killed when she snuck out of her house.. her family and fruends have been threw hell the past few years ... i have to go threw everyday with out my best friend . i have 2 do all the things we talked about doing together with out her ... it is the most horible feeling .. and i think for you to joke about doing something that got her killed on a web site for a program dedicated to her is just sick. i would hope you really think about what you say nexttime, beacuse you hurt alot of people by your words.
I'm Brittany's mother and I can only hope that you will truly think twice about making a decision to sneak out to be with your boyfriend. Its really not worth the risk. My daughter took the chance once and lost her life. She never received a second chance. You really should think about the chances you might also be taking by making poor choices about your life.
If you are truly wanting to sneak out maybe you need to talk to someone that can help you make good choices like a trusting adult, teacher, and even your parents. I know it may be hard to talk to parents but they do love you and want what is best for you. As a teenager you are young and done quite understand this yet. But, they do want to be your friend and the best thing you can do for you and your parents is to communicate.
Please think about the choices you are making because in the end its not worth risking your life for...
