You people need to seriously get a life! There are no tunnels. Fuller Park is just like other abandoned properties. "Virgin Rock" is Iron Ore, which is found in abundance in this area. At one time, a lot of places used it for building and fences. There was even a building made of it on SH 31 in front of the city water tower.

I can't believe all these people who are celebrating 'witchcraft' and the like in Athens.

Yes, a lot of the stone structures were part of the WPA in the 30's to help people get jobs and come out of the Great Depression.

We have iron ore rock in our yard and we live by lake athens. LOL There are no pendagrams anywhere. So silly.

My daughter in law has been in the tunnels, though, so I know they exist. But so what? No witchcraft involved.
