here's a link for anyone who's interested in reading more about mad cow. The info seems a little old (from late 90's) but it could answer some questions we're all having. Like it tells what countries have reported it, if it's found in US, how it's spread, what measures the government is taken to ensure we're not exposed to it, etc.
