There are so many versions of this Christmas classic, and there is no question the version you mention with Alastair Sim is a good 'un that everyone should see, but I just love the version with Gene Lockhart and Kathleen Lockhart (including an uncredited appearance by a young June) as the Cratchits and Reginald Owen as Scrooge. For me, it's really a toss-up as to which one should go on the list.
