is to have dual citizenship so that they can legally and openly lobby for better U.S. policies towards the Philippines. Because Filiino Americans can vote, their opinion, vis-a-vis he Philippines would be meaningful. The Phil govt is incredibly stupid/inept/short-sighted/tunnel-visioned to continue inhibiting their own countrymen by not acting on the idea of Dual citizenship just like Israel.
