This upcoming 2004 Presidential election troubles me a lot.
FPJ as a frontrunner presidentiable is mind-boggling. I can't imagine why Filipinos never learn from the lessons of the past. There's no way Philippines will going to recover from being "land of destitutes" if we elect the kinds of FPJ.
We need to be more realistic and tangible to the current needs of the Republic. To govern a government, we had enough of a "school drop-outs" at puro paporma. They will lead us no-where but oblivion.
Bakit kung mag a-apply ka ng trabaho sa SM Shoemart kailangan college graduate pero kung President of the Philippines, kahit walang pinag-aralan pwede basta Filipino. We need to address this matter because where in the world you could find 100 or so Presidentiables? Kahit sino pwede. Another loophole for our corrupt system of governance.
To all Filipinos back home, maawa naman kayo sa Pilipinas. I can't stand seeing FPJ beside Tony Blair at Downing Street na puro lang porma at walang lamang ang utak. Nakakahiya na ang sitwasyon ng Pilipinas pati ba naman magiging presidente natin...?
