Hi, i'm Wilma. a friend of a certain couple Primo and Bambi Abastillas back home in Taglatawan, Bayugan, Agusan del Sur, Mindanao. i just want to share to you their recent dilemma in life. yes, it's about their 9th child who is confined at San Pedro Hospital in Davao City some four or five months already. overstayed? that is. i can send you the details and complete medical history of the confined child sick with broncho pneumonia, he has no hole in the anus ( sorry, i forgot its medical terms) and shall be operated on as soon as he reaches 10 kilos, with down syndrome, he has now very low immune system as he gets easily get cough and colds, that's why he is confined in an airconditioned room for his safety. he is almost 2 years old. for now Primo, Jr. has been announced fit to go home already as he has been treated with the pneumonia and could continue wait for the operation at home as soon as they could have enough money for it.
The problem now is the huge hospital bill they have had! yes, minus the Philhealth, as of last month, it reaches to an excess of Two Hundred Sixty Thousand Pesos (P200,000.00). considering the daily room fee of P1,300.00 plus the medicines and other fees. as of today, they are still there at the hospital waiting for people with kind and generous hearts to help them free from this very big hospital bill to get them out of that hospital room and go back home and live normally free of debts and worries.
Ana Maria Abastillas (Bambi) is the owner of their own little private kindergarten and elementary school in Bayugan, Agusan del Sur with barely less than two hundred pupils enrolled. Primo is just her helper in the school running errands for the school's needs. their income could hardly be enough to feed their family's needs. what with the 8 other kids all in school.
i am appealing to you to please help bring this concern to the Vice-President Hon. Noli de Castro and help my friend with her financial problem today. they have no other means to look for this amount of money. if they continue to live in the hospital, the bill would increase more. you can contact the hospital and talk to Primo and Bambi as i can't get their contact numbers for the moment. i am here now in Japan some 3 weeks ago. the papers have not been brought to me when i left, but they are all ready for submission anytime.
and they are willing to be interviewed or the child to be viewed in the hospital. he is really the darling of that hospital. the visiting doctors and nurses would fondly play with Primo, Jr. or "Dongkoy" as he is fondly called. he has been a permanent resident of that hospital. in my two day visit with Dongkoy, i can't help but pity Dongkoy's situation. they could even hardly buy a bottle of purified water for his bottled milk. i bought them a dozen pack of pampers and that's all i could afford to help also.
Hon. Noli de Castro, i plea to you to please help my friends. they are my very good Couples For Christ brother and sister. they are good citizens of our town. my good neighbors and my very good family friends. i can't just bear to look at their situation without doing nothing. hence, this request.
you can email me anytime for your reply. and i could also contact them anytime, if ever.
if the government have helped Angelo dela Cruz, then why not help "Dongkoy" the little Angelo in his own right who also needs help.
thank you very much. mabuhay ang Pilipino!!!
please don't fail us........
in the love of Jesus and Mary,
i am....
