When there is no possibility, then there is no faith

A person may or may not believe. It still remains a possibility for a person to come to God. Faith is not a matter of after the fact, nor emergent.
The issue is, could faith in the absence of scientific interference, be an awareness of a fact or, could it be in the absence of proof a possiblity of belief in the irrational or fictional? Likewise, the power of God might be involved at all times.
