ALTHOUGH SIMPLISTIC AND CONSIDERED OBSOLETE, THE GEOMETRY OF BOHR'S ATOM LENDS TO SOME INTERESTING HYPOTHESIS INVOLVING PI. FOR EXAMPLE, EVERY ORBIT HAS ITS OWN DIAMETER AND CIRCUMFERENCE THAT ELECTRONS MUST TRAVERSE AND SINCE ITS RELATIVE DISTANCE FROM THE NUCLEUS IS DIRECTLY ASSOCIATED WITH ITS ENERGY LEVEL, IT CAN BE THEORIZED THAT PI HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES OF ANY ELECTRON IN ANY ORBIT AROUND THE NUCLEUS.

I WONDER WHAT THE GREEK MATHEMATICIANS WILL DISCOVER TODAY GIVEN THE SCIENTIFIC TOOLS AVAILABLE FOR THEIR USE? WHEREAS THEY ONLY HAD THE COMPASS AND STRAIGHT EDGE THAT LED THEM TO SOME FANTASTIC DISCOVERIES, WE NOW HAVE SUPERCOMPUTERS, TELESCOPES AND GRAPHIC SIMULATORS THAT CAN DO A WHOLE LOT MORE TO FEED THEIR IMAGINATION.
