San Roque Dam Project located on the Agno river in the mountainous Cordillera region of luzon is a worthless project.
Foreign mining companies, japanese investors and so forth would benefit from it. For this, the filipino masses especially the peasants and indigenous peoples werevictimized to pay a dear price. Communities have lost their cultural identity and heritage. Ecosystem have been destroyed. Homes and properties have been destroyed and uncompensated. I envisioned what lie ahead after it is completed, profits flowed in to the pockets of foriegn energy corporations and local partners, international funding agencies and the multi-lateral agencies. I see this as the end of our community, river and people as well. This project is a flagship of Malacanang.
