Kamloops Falcons Tournament update, so far the tourney is looking pretty good, currently we have these teams entered Big Guy Lake Mohawks, North Battleford, Merritt Mustangs, Ashcroft Cowboys, BC Warriors, Kamloops Stars, Kamloops Falcons, we have had alot of interest in the tourney to date, the tourney is still a month away, hopefully we will get more teams by then. you were right Sheldon that Jeans Beans Team chickened out, afraid to come to BC to play some real Indian Hockey, I guess they are unable to get enough status players with real indian cards LOL,

Like i said yesterday I don't think we can get enough guys to play, there is that senior game where 5 players are playing for 1st place and with it moving to Ashcroft, we lost our sponsor. He's based out of Kamloops.

Here are the results of the Falcons Cup 2008 All Native Hockey Tournament. The Final score Enhanced Auto (Ashcroft,Kamloops,Williams Lake etc ) 3 Alkali Lake Braves 2. Third place went to the BC Warriors. Prize Money 1st $3000, 2nd $2000, 3rd $1000. This years event was a great success , I would Like to Thank our main sponsor CP and all the volunteers especially the fans who packed the arena!!!Most Sportsmanlike team went the host Falcons who lost 10-8 to the Alkali Braves in the quater-final game sunday, this game was very exciting to watch, the teams traded goals right down to the final buzzer with the Braves pulling away in the final minutes, I would like to thank the teams that came and made a entertaining weekend with a fast brand of hockey. See you all next year!!!
