Note: "It is a 16013 from '78, but it has the configuration of a 16030 and was bought as a 16030. This must have been done by the original owner...
I know many people in Denmark who during the 90s thought their two-tone Datejust were too flashy, so either they sold them, put them in the drawer, wore them on leather straps or changed the configuration into ss/ss at the local RSC.
The 16030 and 16014 had a similar dial choice, but with a silver crown. Although mine isn't the original look, I think it looks even more handsome with with the gold crown and steel look with the flat bezel... Anyway I am never gonna sell it as it was my first Rolex. It is my favorite Datejust dial.
