Note: "This 1016 is from 1964 non-hack, cal. 1560 with a gloss-black/gilt-print dial. It was purchased it from Zaf Basha, who took the scan. According to Werner Feig this dial ["T<25"] was only made for a couple of years. Here is his statement from an e-mail he posted on VRF:
The gilt dials for the Explorer 1016 were built until the end of 1966. They are very rare, especially without outer ring, these 1016s were built only between 1964 and 66." - KC
