Cryonet is more off-topic, thought to be of interest to cryonicists, than on-topic.

It seems to me that CryoNet is a defacto off-or-on-topic area for cryonicists. The interesting thing about being off-topic is that there are really two kinds of off-topic'ness. One is acceptable: It's off-topic ideas that are thought to be of general interest to the current cryonicist group. The other isn't acceptable: Off -topic ideas that are personally specialized ideas that that person is attempting to share with the cryonics community. That latter form of off-topic'ness is better dealt with in a separate forum. This is why CryoTalk will become more important: It allows easy access to all forms of on or off-topic related areas by and for cryonicists, both to share thoughts on related issues and to share personal soapbox issues without interfereing in the bandwidth of forums where the off-topic'ness is of the sort where it needs to be generallly acceptable.
