Note: Despite not being acceptable to all collectors, there is growing evidence that the earliest Oyster Cosmograph reference 6240 non-exotic dials were not marked "Oyster" as they would be shortly. In other words, they shared dials with the earlier non-Oyster 6239 for a short period.

Additionally, this 6240 features its original "stubby" pushers, has a cal. 72B movement with "ROW" export code on the bridge and a 6239 "CRS" caseback. - T.
