Except to a Carlson Raider, it is probably little known that a song titled, "Carlson's Raiders" even existed. I received an inquiry from the son of a Carlson Raider, inquiring as to where the words to this old song could be found. Only part of the song is shown in the book (out-of-print now) The Big Yankee...by Michael Blankfort; so I decided to try an Internet search to find it.
After some ado, I finally found the following as I was led first to The Edison School of Music in Rochester, NY, and then to Brown University, in Providence, Rhose Island.
The following information will provide interested viewers with information to order a copy of the words to the Carlson's Raiders song. As you can see the song is under strict copyright, and I cannot reproduce it here for you.
