I would like anyone who knew my grandfather to please contact me. Our family would like any
information we can get about his time served in the Marines. He was an aide to Evans Carlson or
Carlson's Raiders fame and he was in the 4th marines in the Pacific. He gave his life at Iwo Jima. He
was originally from Pittsburgh and was in college in Kansas when the war broke out. Any info would
