I am looking for information on the 4th Marine Raider Bn. My
uncle was a
corpeman with them. His name is Lyle C. McDermott PHM 2/C. He
was in O
Company with the 1st Platoon.
Any information you I would be appreciative. I do have some
information of
the raid on Viru Harber in support of the guerilla force under
the command
of Col Kennedy.
