Mr. Gaines,

Thank you so much for the warm welcome. I have been active on my grandfathers marine raider history since I have been 6. He died when i was 4, and I am 19 now. I have attended many Raider reunions, and find the one in Quantico,to be the warmest welcome I had ever had. Each and every raider is truly a role model to me. They are all fine men. I see them as substitute grandfathers for the one who left me so early. My grandfather was truly a fearless warrior. I will try to spread his legacy on to many future generations in my family to come. I know Mr. Marash, however, if there are any realitives that want to know information, or answers to there questions, I believe I can answer them, or find out for them. Thank you for the warm welcome

Respectfully

Seth Dix
Granson of 1st Sgt. James Dix (1st Raider, Tulagi, Guadalcanal, and New Georgia)
