I have been a student of military history all of my adult life but the closest I ever got to the real thing was what little my father told me about being on Guam at the end of WWII. I married an active duty Marine in February and decided to immerse myself in information so I could better understand him and the Marines so I picked up this book and couldn't put it down!
I recently met Major Ashley Fisher (USMC Ret)and he shared some stories with me. What an honor and privilege that was for me! I will cherish it always.
Thank you for what you did.
I am still trying to locate a copy of "Bless Em All" to add to my collection.
Any other suggestions for reading?

I, too, have been looking for a copy of BEA!!!
Out-of-Print--but people keep saying it will be reprinted again--it was, once-and then withdrawn from sale because of poor bindings; also, the supply of reprints was flooded in someone's basement and destroyed.
I'm still hoping, though.
The www has 1000s of used booksellers, and they will find used copies, but usually at a cost of 1-200$!!!
Dan Marsh has some chapters from BEA on his Raoders Site.
Dr. Phyllis Zimmerman (Ball State University) has been writing another bio of Carlson (The First Gung Ho Marine) and it has been due to go on sale for the last three years now.
George Smith's book is very good.
Best
