This nutter just kept testing my patience. I would run him off the suet and he would go to the back of the fence and wait until I closed the window, then come right back.
After the third time or so I got my shooting sticks ready and opened the window. He ran down the post and headed for the fence only to stop 21yds away to survey the situation.
He was facing away and to the left when the CPL hit the brain stem and snatched the rug out from under him. He sprawled straight out and never moved again.
The only other time I’ve seen that happen is a rat I hit in the same spot. A totally devastating shot if you can pull it off.
