I took a Raccoon with my SK1 many years ago with a Brain-stem shot. Instant Lights out.

I believe it is the only place that will always produce that reaction.
All four legs simply spread out, and the body falls between them, no other movement. Until you take the shot , you simply don't know how fast a kill it is.
