As a Non-Springer, shooter, I was pleasantly suprised this weekend.

My friend J stopped by with a couple guns to shoot and help sell.

Well apart from my R-7, I don't like springers. (Well Rob's Kodiak is the other one I like.)

Anyway, He pulls out the two of most spectacular guns I have ever seen.
An HW-50, and an R-1. Great guns, but there's more. They are both Paul Watts tuned guns with Spectacular wood. The HW-50 is Exhibition grade, and the most accurate gun I have ever shot, bar non.

I shot several guns that day, not really trying for anything, other than to get used to the different guns. After shooting several shots from each, we went to recover the targets, well the HW-50 with open sights, outshot all the other guns with scopes, now that has never happened to me before.\










10.5FPE in .177 with less cocking effort than the R-7,
OH, and a real trigger that makes the R-7 feel barbaric.
