I was hitting a soda can out at 30 yards all day with the B-26 once the open sights replaced the scope. Tomorrow I'll try more serious 10 meter accuracy to see if the groups still wander. I kind of enjoyed the challenge, and the rifle performed well!

I got my Du-10 Fixed too.
Took me 4 cartridges to test. I did a lot of hammering to make the derlin seal into shape.
But finally the gun seals perfectly and producing good groups.

The more I think about it, the more I know you're right about that carbine. The shoulder stock is a neat idea. I'll want a scope of some type on it and will need to add the weaver rail.

It is called tip-off scope rail.
If you want mount the full length scope rail on it you need to cut the bottom a little in order to let it sit on top of the loading slide top-cover. I think Ken has a picture of his scope rail.
Another thing when you assemble the gun DO NOT! over tighten those two screws holding the plastic magazine window!! A very little pressure will crack the plastic.
Have fun!
