will shoot your new gun 10 times to make sure it works AND check for air leaks if it is a PCP.

Hmmm, wouldn't that make it a used gun when you got it?

If they shot it over a Chrony and gave you the info before you bought it, then maybe.

It would be nice for example to get a shot string from a 909 as they vary so much from gun to gun.

also a accuracy target from the B-26 would tell you if your gun is a lemon before it even leaves the warehouse..

I dought this is an option though.

Nice thought but has it any practical use?

They should do it for free upon request, simply to give better customer service.

Cheers, David.

Send me your gun, along with a prepaid return shipping label and I'll shoot it for FREE and tell you if it has leaks!

Insane.

Testing first would save them money ...

because a customer is less likely to return the rifle! Man, how they turn the responsibility right back onto the customer.

I'd like to sell pizza, then tell the customers that I'll take the first bite for an extra 5 cents to see if it is any good before you eat it!

Reminds me of the "100 point inspection" on certified used cars

It "supposedly" takes place but having been in that industry for many years I can tell you it is a farce and actually rarely takes place.

With Pyramydair, one of the chief repetitive complaints is that previously returned or restocked rifles are being shipped as "new" - or at least the condition of the new rifles gives that impression. This deal is likely a ploy to try and encourage buyers to authorize prior use of the guns so that Pyramyd will have a valid excuse for selling restocks as new. If you choose the 10 for 10 deal, rest assured you are likely authorizing them to send you a previously owned (for a short time) returned or restocked gun. That's my suspicion anyway.
