Aternoon spent knocking the gun stand together

I managed to obtain some oak from a listing that I have that went back to the bank. I managed to retrieve two pieces of oak from the dumpster as the bank did not want anything in the house. I don't mind dumpster diving when it is worthwile.
Had some plans in my head to do a free standing gun rack to be able to set up my guns if travelling to a shoot.
Here is the result of an afternoon of cutting and nailing and glueing.
This holds 6 guns very easily and is bottom heavy. There is no room for the next two addition that are in transit from Brown Santa. Photos of the S 410 are included and I have an HW 100 in 17 cal on hold with Jim Stanus. What an exciting shooter.
I just need to sell some more houses to make this all happen. I have never been so busy in Real Estate as I am now.
How lucky can any man be but to live in this country.

Great looking stock on the s410.

Your gun stand looks good too. If you give it a coat of oil, it will deepen the color up and protect it.

Dumpster diving, LOL.

Cheers, David

I had these brackets for some time and had planned on this for some time just did not have the time.
This is for display of my guns when I can. I know it is a piece of junk but it is functional. I like simple and functional.http://i568.photobucket.com/albums/ss126/rickmckean/DisplayHolder001.jpghttp://i568.photobucket.com/albums/ss126/rickmckean/DisplayHolder003.jpg" alt="[linked image]">

All very nice!

How are you liking the AR2079? Has that had any mods done to it? Any plans to convert to HPA? My 79 converted to HPA is quite fun. Was a fun project to reseal it as well.

Mike Mellic has tuned it prior to my stewardship of this. It is smooth as butter to cock an shoot. This is my winter basement shooter so it has been sitting ignored for some time as I enjoy the good weather.
Winter comes wayyyy too soon

I got this from a gent in Illinois a Fellow Realtor

I got this from a referall and he had posted this on the site around Christmas time.
It is a super accurate basement shooter. I use it on my MTS 1000 and it is great. Much better that I am of course.

Yes there seems to be no cure. If you told me this a year ago I would have said you guys are nuts spending that kind of money on air guns and here I am. hip deep in sheep dip.
HW 100 in two weeks. Lord help me for I am weak.

You did it to yourself, we tried to warn you, but no, you didn't believe us that it is more addictive than nicotine. (less expensive than nicotine, but more addictive, LOL)

Glad to have you as a fellow airgun nut. cheers, David.

You've come a long way, baby!

Nice work on the rack, simple yet effective enough that I should build one. Nice collection of guns too!
