today. That is if the wife doesn't have any other plans for me. It'll be the first time shooting that I've done in over two weeks. Once again this work thing keeps getting in the way of what's important. LOL

Knocked down the NRA silhouettes most of the afternoon yesterday. What a pleasant interactive target, and I thank you again for them. Looking down at the plank of soft pine used as the base, I noticed shrapnel embedded in the wood, especially under the big ram that stubbornly resists the impact of an 8.4 grain pellet. 40 yards, there is still a lot of punch and splat from the R11 which is set at just under 12 fpe from the muzzle.

Another nice day in NEPA. There are a couple of T-bone steaks seasoned and ready for the grill after a few sessions of NRA silhouette shooting. My face is still sunburned from yesterday afternoon. Low angle and closer proximity of the fall sun is very warming. It is truly a great time of the year, so get out and enjoy!

Well i did get a chance to shoot half of the course, and i did much better than the first time out . This time i took my plots of my scope. I notice that from 15yardish to about 40yardish it was pretty good (leapers 8x32x56) but below and above it was more guess work. It was a pleasent day here in NEPA, I wore shorts and it was warm, got to love when yuor blood turns thick for winter and your wearing shorts in 60's LOL. Anyways I hope your day was as good as mine.

What a great day! Even if you managed to cop 10 minutes shooting, it was well worth it. I did a bit more than you it seems. NEPA rocks in the fall!
