Some excersise will be good for you so don't spend too many hours at your homeworks. I am sure you will make it to the top anyway.
I was doing Flash some time ago and it's rather complecated I think and I skipped it because people just don't have the correct plug ins to watch it anyway and it makes websites load so slow.
