I've been in the IT industry since the late 80's, and I work for a large IT company. I work on a tech support help line where five of us support over 3000 users with computer-related issues.
Before this job, I was a LAN admin at an engineering firm where I designed and built the entire network (except for pulling the cables), including upgrading all the PCs to the latest (at the time) hardware to be NT compatible. Before that I wrote add-on programs for AutoCAD at an architectural firm. (actually, I think I had another LAN admin job in there somewhere)
Soooooo...
I think I can fix my PC

But if I get stuck I'll be sure to drop you a line
