Response to What version/browser are you using? |

At home on Windows I have IE4 and Netscape 4.5. At work I think I have Netscape 4.71, not sure though.
It's not worth getting stressed over. There's no right way and no wrong way. I always sacrifice a certain amount of control over a page so that it's viewable under as many different browsers as possible without boogering things up. This is why I use implicit font sizes, alt tags, and widths in percentages rather than hard coded values. If I do set a hard code value, I assume 640x480 screen resolution. It might not look as good as it could at my resolution, but no one will ever have a horizontal scroll bar on one of my pages. Oh, and I also never use frames.
Like I said, it doesn't mean it's right, it's just a matter of style and preference. In any case, after having taken a closer look at the source for Gordon's page, I'm starting to think the unchangeable font size lies in the style tag, where I see a "font-size : 10pt;" in there. I've never tried to set font size like that before, so I dunno.
