Ah, a fellow "do it out by hand" HTMLer! I'm like you, Paul - will take me longer to learn to use a program than to write it out, since I started learning HTML when it was version 3.0 (ancient, huh?) Style sheets didn't you even exist.

I tried to incorporate style sheets into my old design, but it didn't work w/ Netscape in the sense that if the browser didn't recognize it, it just showed it in the default way - which made the links unreadable. I'm redesigning now, with style sheets, but my background is white, so if it doesn't render properly, the user won't notice the problems.

Thanks for the link - i'm always looking for good resources.
