If *smirky* gets elected...

I think I'll sell off all my mutual funds so I don't lose them in the impending recession. Hopefully I will have found a house before the interest rates are driven up into the double-digits ala Reagan.

When Clinton ran, I looked at him and I though "gee, he looks kinda sleazy". Well, he did a good job in office, so I overlooked the "sleaziness". Before him, George Sr. didn't seem sleazy at all, but he did a crappy job. Reagan did a crappy job and was also sleazy.

Al Gore doesn't seem the least bit sleazy, and since he's coming from an administration that's doing a decent job (and also judging by what I've seen of him), I think he'll also do a decent job. George Jr., on the other hand, is both sleazy and will probably do no better of a job than his dad did.

It scares the hell out of me that the republicans can pull all the crap they've pulled over the last 4 years and even get close to getting someone elected. What's the average IQ of the average American anyway? Sheesh!
