I love my camera (an OM-10). I bought it for high school photography class, and have used it in several different countries. This past summer, my girlfriend Mary began working as an actress in the Maryland Renaissance festival. I decided at that time that I needed a few accessories for my camera, so I trotted down to Penn Camera (they have a wide selection of used equipment).
I picked up a 70-210 telephoto lens, a 25mm wide-angle lens, and a flash, all for around $200. Funny that I waited 18 years to accessorize, eh? I'm very happy with the results, I just need to buy a steadier hand
By the way, I absolutely
love your page on abandon structures and tunnels. That's a big thing of interest to me. I once found a piece of paved road in the woods near an interstate highway here, and I sifted through old maps to see what it was. Apparently a road abandoned when the interstate was put through.
Nemacolin castle (the castle in PA I did the webpage for) is rumored to have had a tunnel leading to the nearby river that was used to smuggle slaves, and later liquor. There was a lot of speculation that the rumor was untrue, until we found an elderly gentleman who when he was young, had worked on the team that sealed it off.
All very cool
