Have just bought 1987 R9 Auto - 55.5K on clock. A quick question folks - can it be converted to UL fuel?

Unleaded fuel

Most of R9/11 of 1987 run on unleaded fuel without problems. What is important: which 9 do you have, resp. which engine?

Thanks for the reply. Details of the car are as follows:
Vehicle type - TSE Auto L423
Engine type - C2J, 1397cc

TSE should work fine with unleaded fuel. In Austria I used (and still use) 95 octanes without problems

UL in the Renault 9

Hello,

I have a renault 9 TL from 1986. Bought it with 74.000 km I have rarily tanked leaded fuel and no problems what so ever. I your case I would tank leaded fuel till you passed the 60.000 km because then the engine is not dependable on led. So i heared from a renault mechanic / enthousiastic. I have am a very satisfied Renault 9 driver I am shoure you will also
