Hello:
I am looking for a 5 vel. manual transmission. I have problems with an R11 encore and I would like to change transmission for a new or rebuilt but good one.
got anyone?, thank you for your advaise.

Most of the SHIFTER problems on the Alliance/Encore, R9/11 is the failure of a small rubber part at the bottom of the shifter--- AND NOT THE FAULT OF THE TRANS...
Usually one will complain he no longer can get the car into reverse,,, but this is a shifter problem-- and not the fault of the trans....
However--- since I do not know the actual fault you are refering to... then I am guessing,,, but I have had 3 bad shifters in my R-9 already...
But only 1 bad transmission,,, and that was because of no oil in the trans when I got the car-- and the gears were stripped....
Let us know again what is the actuall fault-- then we can help more...
