Does anyone have an idea why this happens? looks like the circuitry is made out so that the fog lights switch off on high beam,doesnt happen in any other car i've driven!
It is fun sometimes you can flicker it to the guy behind you but not so nice if you want the front fog lights and high beams to be on at the same time.
Anyone got ideas how to stop that?
Or is it a problem with only my car !

Generally both rear and front fog lights should automatically turn off, when driving on high beam.
Most of the 11s I've seen really feature this kind of mechanism.
Newer cars, esp. German don't have it.

Maybe it was due to french traffic regulations at the time 9/11 were produced?

Austrian cars donīt switch off, either. I can go with all six lamps in front, but I havenīt checked if the rear fog lamps turn off at high beam. I think thereīs a different circuit layout, donīt you agree?

4, where did you put those 2 more?

...although the pis shows the Phase I Turbe, where mine is a GTX only... but the layout is the same!

I have the newer front lights, I thought he had the same thing with extra Hella lights like the Rally R9s forgot about the old 9s

My R9 just passed MOT, but it really would need some attention now - rust ist starting, the engine would need a cylinder head overhaul, new shocks wouldnīt be a mistake neither, and, and, and... But, all in all, it will kepp for one more year I hope... and Iīve just seen an 11 GTL or GTD for sale some days ago...

...and there ist still my R16, which isnīt on the road yet because itīs really hard to find spares. Iīll have to go to the Netherlands and Germany for some
