Hi, I'll use my r9 tse for speed circuit (only for enjoing, it's not a race) and I want to change my little 165/70-13 wheels for another whells. I want some that gives me estability but I don't want to loose a lot of acceleration. I'm thinking in 185/14. Do you recommend me? There are enough space to put this wheels without problems?

Choose the size 185/60R14 mounted on 6x14" rims with an offset of ca. 36 to 38 mm. They fit without problems and handle much better than the small originals.

That's the distance measured in millimeters from the center of the wheel (the steel wheel not the tire) to the part where you fix the wheel to the car (the wheel hub) so if the wheel is fixed at it's center that's called 0 offset, if the wheel is extending alot out of the car, it's called -ve offset. if it is alot in the car, it is +ve offset.

So in the renault the default is 36 mm offset.
i.e the wheel has it's base that is bolted to the wheel hub with the 4 bolts 3.6 cms away from the wheel's own center line.

If you still don't understand. go to this link it has photos:
