Intrax + Boge

Intrax still do lowering springs for the 9/11. But make sure you get their lowering springs for the Turbo model, NOT the other models.

I've heard that there's one coil too many in Intrax lowering springs for the normal models, and those "lowering" springs actually raise the car compared to original!! So always choose their Turbo springs even if yours isn't a Turbo.

As for shock absorbers, I'd recommend Boge Turbo gas shockers as an inexpensive, durable and easy to find option.

I've yet to compare the anti-roll bars on the 9 and the 19, they might be interchangeable. But I'm not yet even sure if they're any thicker in a standard 19 (e.g. 19 GTS 1.4 Energy), I'll have to take some measuremants. Also worth checking if the rear torsion bars are any thicker in the 19 than those in the 9. If they are, 19 torsion bars should fit inside a 9 rear axle.

Same as above, but you can reset the torsion bar at the rear by extracting it and changing the axle position before re-insertion. Be sure to get the 2 sides even!
I Took 107mm off the rear height of my 2nd R9 (bit too much though )a few years back like this.
I Never had the need to change the torsion bar for a different one and i used standard shocks too.

There's one "click", and there's one "click"...

As a follow-up to resetting the rear torsion bars, there's a difference between resetting the inner end of the torsion bar one "notch" and resetting the outer end, in relation to their anchoring points.

The outer end of the torsion bar has 24 splines, the inner end 25. Therefore, if the outer end is relocated to its original position and the inner end moves by one spline in relation to the axle tube anchoring point, the angular change in the trailing arm is 360/25 deg = 14.4 degrees.

If, instead, the inner end goes to its original position and the outer end moves by one spline, the angular change of the trailing arm becomes 360/24 = 15 degrees.

So, even if you lower the car by just one spline, the amount of lowering depends on which end of the torsion bar changes its position in relation to other suspension components.
