Does anyone know if the round plastic part which is located in the boot of the Renault 11 (on top of the fuel tank) is called the fuel sender?
It is the part which all the fuel pipes connect to.

Thanx

Hi,
You are absolutely right.
The plastic cap on the bottom of the car’s trunk is part from the pipe, which feed the fuel pump.
There is a out pipe for fuel, feeding your carb and another one to return the unnecessary fuel.
There is also an electric connector, which connect fuel level sensor and the gauge on the board of the car.
Do you know can I put a fuel tank from R19 on my R9,because on first sight they are one the same, and the fuel sender unit also?
Regards.
Tisho.
