Does anyone know if i can fit the speedometer from a R19 model 1990 to my R9? If no does anyone knows if there is a website that has R9 spare parts? i live in greece and although there are a lot of R9s here i cant find spare parts in a good condition.
And one more thing, i believe i have the record for distance made with R9. My father has the car from 1987 and changed the engine in 1989 from 1.1L to a 1.4L. When he bought that engine it had 84.000Km and now(14 years later) it has believe it or not 395.000Km and it still works, it burns a little oil(it needs about 1L every 2500Km) and nothing else. Definetely one of the best cars Renault has ever made.

my SM also broke and im going on one from R 21 nevada. i hope it will fit without problem. i let you know. Here i Croatia we have shity fuel so it destroy any engine.

Do u have any pics from R21 SM? if u have pls mail them maybe i'll try that one.
The main reason that i want to change the SM is that i changed the interior lights from green to orange (switches, clock etc.) and R9 SM green light doesn't match so i want to make it orange too. As far as i know there are orange lights in R5 turbo, R19 1989-90. What color is the R21 lights?

I found a pic from the R21 SM and they identical to those from R19. I think they will look very nice inside an R9 and that orange light is better than the green one.
When i finish fixing it i'll post some pics.
