Having trouble locating a replacement EGR valve in Ontario, Canada. Auto parts places are telling me that it is not available.
Anyone know if there is a substitute part number? Has anyone installed an EGR from a different vehicle and had success?

The old valve has a part # CAM 17083796

Failed the emission test due to faulty EGR valve

I found one here last year for a fellow. I'm in Winnipeg, MB. It was around a $100 plus taxes. E-mail me if you still need help. I can try to find it again and then give you the phone # of the place.

Found the leak and sealed it up. The metal disk is riveted to the diaphragm at every second hole around the disk. Some of the holes without a rivet were leaking, so I epoxied them and the vacuum tested was ok.
