THE NW WORKING DOGS EXPO
was held June 1st, 2nd & 3rd
at the Clackamas County Fairgrounds
in Canby Oregon.
This show was a HUGE success! What a blast we all had.
- Myst was awarded "Best Brood *****" in the NCA show.
- Myst also earned her TT in the ATTS!
- Anter also earned his TT as well.
- Our own Lucius Veras took 2nd place in the Personal Protection Division of K9 ProSports, followed by party boy Trajan.
- We had 33 dogs come out for the ATTS, including 12 pitbulls! 10 of the 12 passed!
Many people were introduced to protection training, and tried their dogs on the agitation line, or just had fun in confidence-building sessions.
We want to send out a huge thank you to Butch for coming to our first trial and giving many Portlanders their first view of a personal protection dog. We appreciate you rolling up your sleeves and working with so many dogs, many of whome were not entered into the competition. You really helped people have a whole lot of fun!
Also, thank you so much to our second judge, Kristin, for coming to Portland and putting up with us. Your expansive experience and knowledge in working dogs is a real joy, and you clearly care about helping owners do their best with their dogs!
