Lety nodded, "Yup! So there's no need to pretend anymore," she told Aldo.

"Pretend?? You guys were just pretending?" Alicia was surprised.

"Well yea but...I wasn't expecting it to end so soon," Aldo was still shocked looking down at Lety and Fernando's joined hands.

Lety smiled at him, "Lucky you. It endend sooner than you thought."

"We'll be upstairs," informed Fernando. "And again, sorry Alicia."

"Lety, can I talk to you?" asked Aldo.

Lety was confused by hi face expression and slowly nodded. Fernando was as confused as Lety also. Aldo looked upset, like he didn't agree with what was happening.

Lety and Aldo walked upstairs to his room.

"What's wrong? I thought you'd be happy for me. And for you too because you don't have to pretend anymore," said Lety after he closed his bedroom door.

"Lety, I stopped pretending a long time ago," he answered. Lety was even more confused now. "Why did you get back with him? He forgives you whenever he wants and you run to his arms right away? You could've at least made him suffer a little," he added.

"Suffer? I made him suffer already and it was more than a little. I deserved what he did to me. And what do you mean you weren't pretending anymore?" Lety told him beginning to get upset too because he wasn't happy for her.

"Let...my Lety," said Aldo putting his hand on her cheek. Lety looked at the hand on her cheek and back up at his eyes feeling so confused. "I love you. I always have."

Lety put her hand over his, removing it from her cheek. "What?"

"You know I've always loved you. We've been away from each other so long and I forgot how good I felt when I was with you. Everything came back when we first kissed again. All these memories of us came back to me and I realized what we had was too special to let it end just like that. I didn't think you'd go back to Fernando. I was hoping you would see we still have a chance to make things go back to how they used to be. I was determined to make you fall in love with me again and make you forget Fernando," he cupped her face in his hands attempting to kiss her, but failed.

Lety turned giving him her back. "That's impossible. What happened between us was almost two years ago and it's best if it stays in the past. I'm in love with Fernando and nothing can change that. I won't loose him again."

Aldo put his hands on her shoulders, "Is your relationship with him really better than what we had? Is it really more special? Remember that you were willing to give yourself to me-"

Lety faced him, "Yes! It is much more special. I'm really sorry, but ti is. And yes, I was about to do that but I didn't...and I'm so glad I didn't. I'm so happy Fernando was the first man I've ever been with."

"But you didn't even want to do it with him. You were unconscious!"

"I know. But I don't regret it because I love him more than anything. And don't forget, we're going to be parents together and the three of us must be together like the family we are. I don't want my baby to have any other father but Fernando. There's nothing I want in this world more than to live with him and spend the rest of my life beside him."

"But Lety-"

"It's too late Aldo! Fernando's been through so much to be with me and he did anything to do it. You...you ran away like a coward. Fernando faced my dad, but you couldn't. You decided to leave."

Aldo nodded, "I know, I know. But your dad practically kicked me out of your life...I didn't know how to deal with him. He just didn't like me. But I didn't want us to be over."

"Oh so we were just gonna have a long distance relationship? Was that your idea?"

"That was our plan. And when we got older we would meet again and marry. Remember we promised."

"Yea but also remember that you decided one day to simply stop calling me," said Lety trying not to cry.

"You didn�ft call either," he added.

"I guess deep down I knew it would never work out that way. I deserved someone that could stand up to my father. Someone that would go through anything to be with me. And I found that guy. Fernando is the one I wanna be with now and forever."

"I miss you guys...a lot," said Tomas over the phone.

"We really miss you too baby, but we've been real busy with work. But don't worry, we'll see each other soon. You're coming here after high school and we'll be together again, right?"

"Yea mom. But you and dad are coming for graduation, right?"

"Of course we are. We wouldn't miss it."

Tomas sighed, "...You said that for my birthday...and Christmas..."

"I know and we're really sorry. We promise this time," his mom told him. "Honey, I have to go now. Work is crazy."

"Ok mom...I understand...say hi to dad for me."

Lety and Fernando were in his room finishing some homework. Fernando was doing fine until he saw Lety was a bit distracted.

"What happened? Ever since you came out of Aldo's room you've been very distracted. What did he tell you?"

Lety looked at him, "Nothing. It's not important."

"Important or not I'd like to know. Unless you're hiding something from me..."

"Ok fine..." Lety didn't want to hide anything from him and she definitely didn't want him to think that. "Aldo told me that he's still in love with me."

Fernando opened his mouth although he wasn't so surprised. "What?! I knew it! I knew it!"

"He said that the pretending made him remember the old days and he thought we might have another chance," she explained.

"He better not get close to you or I'm gonna-"

"No, don't worry," said Lety trying to calm him down. "I left things very clear to him. He knows I love you, and only you."

Fernando smiled, "My Lety...just mine. I love you."

"I'm not kidding! I swear I heard it with my own ears! They were just pretending," Alicia said over the phone.

"So now that Lety and Fernando are back together...Aldo's single again?" Marcia smiled.

"Yup! And he's all yours."

This surprised Marcia, "All mine? What about you?"

"Well I figured you like him so much so I should just stay away. He pays more attention to you than me," answered Alicia.

"You're awesome!"

Alicia smiled, "I know. That's so you see how much I love you."

"What's the reason for that big smile on your face?" asked Julieta when Lety came home that night.

"You guys are never gonna believe what happened today," said Lety still smiling.

"What happened?" asked Erasmo.

"Fernando and I got back together!" she said almost screaming.

Julieta opened her mouth widely, "That's great! Finally! I thought I'd never hear you say that."

"Me neither!" shouted Lety. She sat down with them and told them how it had happened. Her parents could tell she was so happy and they were happy when their daughter was happy.

That week was the best Lety and Fernando had had after so long. They were so happy everything was finally good and back to normal. But they weren't the only happy ones. Jessica and David were also excited that their wedding was that weekend. Aldo, Aldo had decided to give Marcia a chance and Marcia was so happy about that. Unfortunately, not everyone was so happy.

"Come back my love, I need you so much," Omar said looking at Carolina's picture. "What could you be doing right now? Do you ever think bout me? Have you met someone better? If only you knew how I feel right now. If only I had realized sooner."

Fernando had parked the car in front of Lety's house. It was already night and Lety should've been home but she didn't want to leave Fernando's side.

"You know, I can't wait to marry you so we can be together all day...cus we are gonna marry right?" mentioned Lety facing him while sitting in the passenger seat.

"You'd really like to marry me?" Fernando smiled.

"Of course tonto!" she exclaimed holding his face to kiss his lips. "But I guess I gotta go now," she frowned.

"Not until you give me a kiss hat will last for the night," he told her.

Lety got the closest she could to wrap her arms around him and trapped him in a long passionate kiss. It was a kiss that felt so good to them and they didn't want to stop. They wanted to keep going all night. Their desire grew more and more every second. It had been a long time since hand spent a magical together and they felt they couldn't wait any longer to be together again and join their souls.

Fernando began to go to the next level and put his hand on her leg. Lety ran her fingers through his hair. His kisses and his touch always made her feel so good, like if she was floating in the sky. He slowly began sliding his hand up more and when Lety felt his hand start going inside her skirt, she put her hand over it to stop him.

"I have to go inside now," she said almost out of breath.

Fernando's breathing had also begun to get heavy, "Yea, right." He took his hand off her and faced front. "Goodnight."

"I have to go inside, but that doesn't mean you have to go..." she began.

Fernando faced her again wondering what she meant.

"My bedroom window's unlocked...I'll meet you there," she smiled beginning to blush a little, If you want, of course."

Fernando didn't answer. He wondered if he was hearing right. Was she really inviting him to stay with her that night?

She kissed his lips one last time before getting out of the car. Fernando looked up at her window and smiled thinking...why not?

Lety had a quick chat this time with her parents. She would've loved to keep talking with them but right now what she mostly wanted was to be with Fernando and she knew he'd be waiting for her upstairs.

She went inside her room and turned the light on. Fernando wasn't there. She walked to her window and didn't see Fernando's car there. She couldn't believe he had decided to leave and began frowning when he lights went off. She gasped and turned around, "Fernando?"

"I think it's more romantic with the lights off," he walked towards her.

She smiled, "I was beginning to think you left. I don't see our car outside-"

He hugged her, "I don't want your parents to see me parked outside the house. They're not supposed to know I'm here, right?"

Lety nodded and they began kissing. They walked to her bed while kissing and fell on it. They felt their bodies start to get warm and they made their kisses more intense and passionate. Fernando slowly directed his lips to her neck and Lety pressed his face against it.

Fernando opened his eyes when he lifted his head to go back up to her mouth but he noticed something familiar next to her. Lety opened her eyes when she felt that he'd stopped. "What's wrong?" she pulled his head down to continue kissing him.

Fernando didn't respond to her kiss and lifted his head back up. "Lety, what is my sweater doing here? In your room?"

Lety's lips parted. She didn't know what to say, she couldn't think of any good explanation. Instead she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down again, "Fernando, don't ruin the moment, we were doing great," she began kissing him again.

Fernando pulled free from her and sat up, "How did it get here?" he insisted, looking down at her.
