A non-titty related subject. But I'm always keen to know what music people like, and what books they read.

I listen mainly to sixties psychedelia and seventies rock and prog. But I am open to newer stuff to if it sounds good.

As for books; I like science related stuff, but also "beat" literature and some prose/poetry. William Burroughs, Kafka etc. I am also a sucker for murder mysteries.

I am reading a cool right now you might like. its called 'reliquary' its by douglass preston and lincoln child. a bit of murder mystery and science combined. reminds me of 'bone collector'.

I mostly prefer classical music.
One rare occasions I listen to some rock from the 60's and 70's (stuff I grew up with) but I don't care for anything new than that.
I think modern music is total rubbish, I find it horrible, offensive to my ears and bloody annoying.
Especially when the punks drive past my house blasting sub-sonic jungle drums at 700,000 decibels, makes me want to put a brink through their windshields.

Reading, I don't read much anymore, I spend all my time with my dogs or online or watching educational TV.
I love The Discovery Channel, The Science Channel, The Learning Channel, etc... If it's educational I LOVE IT..
I'm not really into being entertained, I prefer to expand my horizons and learn as much as I can.
The books that I've been stockpiling to read when I ever do have the time are all history books. I love history too.

I don't much care for the modern world.

Its funny that you started this thread, because the other night I went to a concert that was a tribute to the music of ABBEY ROAD by the Beatles. One of my most favorite albums! I was going to ask you guys if you had been to any good concerts lately. My most favorite the group: THE BEATLES all their music from 66 to 70.

I used to read alot of non fiction books like: DEVOLOPEMENT OF WESTERN CIVILATION,10 YEARS OF THE VIETNAM WAR. Now I've got my nose sticking in books about nutrition,herbalism and so on. Hmmm I wonder why?

Yes, I love the Beatles too! Especially Revolver and Abbey Road. I just got a great bootleg DVD - Beatles in Japan 1966. Fantastic sound quality.

That sounds like a great dvd. With todays technology they can do some amazing things to enhance the quality of older music,films and shows.
The concert I was at there were 4 guys singing with a band and the entire Symphony orchestra in the back ground. I still get goose bumps when I think of some of the songs they performed like I want you, oh Darling,Come together and Here comes the sun.It felt and sounded like the Beatles were the ones performing.
