Anyone aware of any DIY home test kits to show you what your hormone levels are?
What about those pregnancy test kits? Don't they test hormone levels?
I doubt that would work but it was a thought. There's bound to be someway to find out without having to go to a $$$$ doctor..
Hi Moonstruck. There certainly is a hormone test that you can get. I believe it is linked to the late Dr Lee if I recall. Reading all the posts when I contributed more, plus the ones lately. I am more convinced then ever that some diseases are linked to hormone levels. Taking this test would be great to establish your baseline. Currently we are all good little children and get our yearly physicals. Generally that should include a battery of blood work. But I think that the other part of the picture is hormones! I may press that idea to my doctor too. I want to know what normal levels are during my life. I am content with my body being sent back to the stars, but I would like to prolong it just a it more.

A pregnancy test only tells you if your urine contains a certain substance that is only detectable in pregnant women.
crap. I was hoping it might have worked. Of course I'm not all savvy on the exact workings of the baby box..
I did some looking. Home hormone test kits are like $100..
When I go for my physical,The blood work that they do is mainly for cholesrerol and Blood sugar. There is also a blood test that can be done to check for prostrate cancer. Unfortunately they don't check hormone levels unless you request it. That might be a little embarassing or lead to questions that could make one feel a little uncomfortable.(why do you want a hormone test?)
If someone were to do this, then it might be wise to go and see a doc. that can deal with TG issues. A family doctor or a general practitioner might frown upon what you're doing and end up sending you to a therapist and open a whole can of worms for you. Not to good for being Stealth!
So, It might be worth the Hundred bucks to get the DIY test. Remember You only need to do it once or twice a year.
I would do the DIY test and at the end of the year I think I will. I can't afford to have all kinds of questions raised and sent through all of gods creation for therapy and consultations. Besides that, I already know what I want. :-)
