Red Clover tops extract vs Red Clover blossoms? Same thing or different?

Is there a difference in those 2?

I know that the flat2fem program emphasized blossoms.

I ended up getting tops extract because, well, on the bottle it said it "promotes female hormonal balance" so I figured it was also effective.

What are your thoughts about this?

The first is a concentrated extract and if the second isn't described as an extract it's the whole red clover blossom.

So the extract is the same thing but more potent. Some people prefer the natural whole blossom though.

Its like this fairly much......They make a big tea (infusion)out of a lot of blossoms and then they will keep cooking the water off and concentrate the tea. Thats one way they do it.

Another method alcohol is used in the process to "extract" the essential chemicals that are needed.

There are tinctures also.

Whole blossoms are dried flowers, picked at the peak of growth.

Terminology for herbal therapies that you will see on bottles or company catalogs is: "Standardized Extract" OR "Whole herb"

S.T's are what I was talking about above. It is a infusion of some sort, for purposes of concentration or a chemical change.

Whole herb is just that..it is a product that is made from all the important parts of the plant. Leaves,roots,fruits,barks...and it varies as to what the product is of course.
